Palazzetto Rosso Art Hotel

“We've been in Tuscany for two weeks staying in several towns; the Rosso Art Hotel stands out as our favourite. The staff set the hotel apart, with friendly, accessible and professional front staff as well as attentive breakfast staff. The building is very cool, with a great mix of modern design in an exceptionally well kept original space. The room we stayed in was large, comfortable, and quiet (despite being minutes from the major sites). A nice start and end to our trip.”

“What a great hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location is great, just off of the main street and close to some very good restaurants. The building is 13th century so it has a real historic feel but there is an elevator and the rooms are up to date for HVAC and plumbing. We had a large room with a 20 foot ceiling and a king bed. The breakfast is limited but well thought out and tasty. Can't say enough about the staff. They are all very nice and genuinely want you to enjoy your time in Siena.”

“Hotel Palazzetto Rosso is right in the center of Siena, just a few minutes away from the Campo and an ideal base to explore Siena. It is housed in an old palace and has several historic artefacts on display on the ground floor with an interesting frescoed ceiling. Our room was quiet and spacious and actually had another big room with seating on a higher level. The bathroom was compact, however did have a big shower cubicle. Daily housekeeping did an excellent job. The staff, especially Ilaria and Claudio, were very welcoming and provided us with lots of useful information about Siena and were engaging in casual conversation making our stay very homely. A minor issue in the room was addressed immediately. The breakfast buffet has something for everyone's taste offering both sweet and savory options, cereals and fruit. The hotel is good value for a short or long stay and we will certainly consider it again when we will return to Siena.”

“What a find! Just 9 rooms, each of them differently furbished, amazing breakfast (with fresh berries, raspberries, blackberries, eggs, freshly brewed coffee, etc), all in a building dating back to the 13th century with an interesting story. Location could not be better. And the staff is super. FLAVIA was amazing, with very good recommendations and always with a big smile. When in Siena we will definitely stay here!”

“Kind of want to keep this place a secret so that I can get a room here every time I visit Siena. The hotel staff and the building itself are remarkable. Very helpful and very historic place to stay. The art is fun and interesting and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. Will definitely recommend this place to friends and family who visit. Will definitely be back and won’t visit the city unless they have a room for me at this hotel.”
